About Bridewell Gardens
Bridewell is a mental health recovery charity in Oxfordshire that supports adults through therapeutic horticulture. Their structured gardening programme helps people regain confidence, develop skills and take meaningful steps toward everyday life and work.
What They Needed
Their previous website didn’t fully represent their ethos or support the people engaging with it. The team needed a platform that reflected their mission, was easy to manage, and clearly spoke to the different audiences they serve, including service users, volunteers and fundraisers.
What We Did
We worked closely with the Bridewell team to understand their values and the experience they wanted to create. Together, we:
- Refreshed and expanded the charity’s branding with a calm and cohesive identity
- Designed a content structure that feels welcoming and easy to navigate
- Built an accessible, responsive site on Umbraco, with clear pathways for each audience
- Created editor-friendly tools and templates so the team can manage content confidently
The result is a site that’s aligned with Bridewell’s purpose and delivers practical value to the people using it.
What They Said
“People are still telling us how great the site is. It’s even being used as a benchmark by other charities.”
We also received a 5-star Clutch review that noted how well we understood the values and goals behind the project.
Looking Ahead
We continue to support the site and help it evolve with Bridewell’s work. It’s a partnership we really value.
